A children’s ministry transformed into an underwater world, with water and marine life sweeping across the walls and ceiling while rockwork and custom architecture bring the scene into three dimensions.
THE GOAL WAS SIMPLE:
MAKE KIDS FEEL UNDERWATER.
The underwater painting moves continuously from wall to ceiling, slipping behind counters, around openings and into the sculpted rockwork. The architecture becomes part of the scene instead of interrupting it.
The result is a children’s space that feels less like a themed classroom and more like stepping below the surface of the ocean.
THE SCENERY STEPPED OFF THE WALL.
Sculpted rock portals and custom-built elements give the environment real depth, shadow and mass. That physical dimension is what allows the painted world to feel convincing at room scale.
